This page explains what we do with your personal information when you use this website. We are Fond of Rudy, a band based in Brighton and London. If you have any questions about it, email info@fondofrudy.com.

What we collect

Only your email address, and the date you gave it to us. That happens when you sign up to our mailing list and nowhere else. There is no analytics software on this site, and we do not set any tracking cookies.

Why we have it

To email you about our music and our gigs, because you asked us to. That consent is the only basis on which we hold your address, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Who sees it

Us, and nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share our mailing list. The list is stored in a database on our own web hosting.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, at which point we delete your address from the list.

Leaving the list

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link in it. You can also email info@fondofrudy.com and ask us to remove you, and we will.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Other sites

We link out to Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, our social accounts and our store. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. Videos on this site only load from YouTube after you click play.
